Whether you are looking to complete your initial certifications or are an experienced diver seeking out rare macro life, the centre provides the infrastructure needed for a focused diving experience. Its proximity to the reef and wreck sites makes it an ideal base for both short dives and extended safari programmes.

The centre operates as a PADI-affiliated facility with a strong emphasis on safety and local community involvement. The team is composed of experienced, passionate divers who prioritise professional service and the training of local guides and staff.

Instruction is available for all levels, from those taking their first breaths underwater to advanced divers refining their skills. The team is well-equipped to assist with technical aspects of diving, including guidance on underwater photography and videography.

A comprehensive range of PADI courses is available on-site. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the PADI Open Water Diver course, while those looking to progress can enrol in PADI Advanced Open Water, PADI Rescue Diver, or PADI Divemaster training.

Specialist training is also a core part of the curriculum. You can refine your skills through the Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Navigation, Deep Diver, and Nitrox courses, or explore niche interests with the Wreck, Drift, and Digital Underwater Photography specialties.

The marine life in the Tulamben area is defined by its incredible diversity. On the walls and reefs, you will encounter large schools of Jack (Carangidae), various species of Angelfish (Pomacanthidae), and numerous Snapper (Lutjanus). Larger residents such as the Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus), Green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas), and various species of Shark (Selachimorpha) are frequently seen patrolling the sites.

For those interested in macro photography, the area is a sanctuary for small, intricate creatures. You can find a wide array of Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), Pygmy seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti), and Ornate ghost pipefish (Solenostomus paradoxus). The sandy slopes and crevices also host various species of Octopus (Octopus vulgaris), Frogfish (Antennarius), and Ghost pipefish (Solenostomidae).

The hard and soft coral structures provide the essential habitat for a vast array of crustaceans and smaller inhabitants, including Harlequin shrimps, Cleaner shrimp (Lysmata), and various species of Crab (Brachyura). You may also spot Boxer shrimp, Porcelain crabs, and various species of Shrimp (Caridea) tucked within the reef architecture.

Diving in Tulamben is generally characterised by easy shore access. However, certain sites like Seraya Secrets can experience unpredictable currents, which may require more advanced buoyancy control and experience.

Seasonal patterns affect certain locations; for instance, the Coral Garden is best visited between April and October, while the macro-rich sites like Seraya Secrets are most reliable during the dry season from April to November.
