Argentière-Club suits divers who prefer room to breathe, a kitchen for their own timetable and a garden or pool to return to. The residence sits in a private domain on the Var coast, with apartments arranged around outdoor space rather than hotel corridors and a beach within easy reach.

The mood is practical and self-contained. You can make coffee before an early departure, return to air conditioning after a warm Mediterranean day and settle on your own balcony or terrace without having to dress up for dinner. Families and groups have larger apartments, while couples can choose a smaller base with fewer rooms to manage.

You are in La Londe-les-Maures, between Hyères and Saint-Tropez, at Chemin du Domaine de l’Argentière. The residence is around 250 metres from Plage de l’Argentière, a fine-sand beach with sun loungers and parasols. Plage de Tamaris is about 0.5 miles away on foot, while Plage du Pellegrin is around 0.9 miles away.

This is a coastal base rather than a town-centre address. A shopping centre is about 150 metres away during the season, and Le San Remo is next door; L’Hemingway is around 0.25 miles away and La Plage about 0.4 miles. For a change of scenery, the coastal path leads towards Fort de Brégançon, while Parc de la Brûlade la Londe is around 0.7 miles away. The Hyères railway station is about 6 miles away, and Toulon–Hyeres Airport is around 8 miles away.

These are apartments, so the useful question is not simply how many beds you can fit in, but how much living space you want around them. The larger garden-view and pool-view apartments work for families or diving groups who want a proper living area, dining table and kitchen rather than a room where wet towels, bags and beach gear compete for floor space. Every apartment has a private bathroom, and the larger layouts accommodate up to six guests.

For two, the studio with balcony is the compact option, with two sofa beds and a single bathroom. It is a straightforward choice when the plan is to spend the daylight hours outside, but the sofa-bed arrangement is worth bearing in mind if you prefer a fixed bed after a long day. Balconies, terraces, garden views and pool views give you different ways to spend the first and last hour of the day.

Air conditioning matters here in summer, particularly when you return warm and salt-covered from the coast. Kitchens include a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and kitchenware; apartments also have a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. A drying rack is available for clothing. Bed linen is not included as standard, and cots and extra beds are not available, so the sleeping arrangements deserve checking before you commit to a particular apartment.

The apartments put you in charge of meals. You have a dining area and a working kitchen, which is handy for breakfast before an early start, a cold meal after a late return or the simple luxury of not having to go out again when everyone is tired. Coffee and tea equipment, a refrigerator, microwave and stovetop cover the basic self-catering routine without turning the holiday into a domestic endurance test.

There is a bar on site, but the property is not presented around a restaurant or a formal meal plan. Nearby choices include Le San Remo next door, L’Hemingway around 0.25 miles away and La Plage around 0.4 miles away. A few bars are located farther afield, roughly 5 to 6 miles from the residence, so the on-site bar and the apartment kitchen are the more convenient options when you want to stay close to home.

Outdoor dining furniture gives you the option of eating outside, with the pool and garden close by. It is an arrangement that rewards a little planning: pick up provisions locally, keep something cold in the refrigerator and let the evening take its own pace.

The heated pool is the obvious place to wind down, with a sun terrace, sun loungers and a separate children’s pool. The pool operates from April to October inclusive. After a day on the coast, that gives you an easier alternative to another outing: shower, change and settle beside the water while the heat leaves your legs.

A tennis court and tennis equipment are available for a more energetic afternoon, while bicycle hire gives you another way to explore the local area. The coast also opens up several water-based options, including kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, jet skiing and boat excursions. Equipment hire is available for these activities.

For quieter days, the coastal path and nearby protected landscapes offer walking, while golf and cultural excursions broaden the choice beyond beach time. Excursions can include Fort de Brégançon and the Îles d’Or, with Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant facing the residence across the coast. There is no need to fill every afternoon, though; the garden, balcony and pool are perfectly serviceable reasons to stay put.

Check-in runs from 16:30 and you need to tell the property your arrival time in advance. Check-out is by 09:00, an early start that matters if you are planning a morning departure or a final swim. A refundable damage deposit is collected in cash on arrival and returned after the apartment has been inspected at check-out.

Private parking is available on site without a reservation, and WiFi is free throughout the property. Pets are welcome. Smoking is not allowed, parties and events are not permitted, and quiet hours run from 23:00 to 08:00. The apartments are not adapted for guests with reduced mobility, so access requirements should be checked carefully before booking.

The residence accepts payment by cheque, cash and bank transfer. A rental contract must be signed and returned after booking. Bring your own bed linen or arrange it with the property, as it is not included as standard. The nearest airport is Toulon–Hyeres, around 8 miles away; an airport transfer service is not listed, so plan your onward transport before arrival.
